Turning 24

21st January, 1987 at 07:54 HRS a little girl took birth in a rural village called Ambaguda of Korapur Dist., Orissa. Later she was named with a name “Suravi” (PS: she changed it SURABHI in class 10th :-D) The name ‘suravi’ was given by her grandfather. Gradually she grew up and was taken to Sunabeda (acc famous for HAL) of Koraput dist., Orissa. There she took admission in an English Medium School “Vyomayana Samasta Vidyalaya” in short VSV. She studied there till her mid of Class VII, and shifted to Malkangiri (place famous for riots).Finished her 7th and 8th at IMST, Malkangiri and then shifted to her home town Berhampur where she continued her further studies at Depaul, followed by RICMS, followed by NIST. Now she is a post graduate…

Time elapsed, value of money decreased, increased her waistline, with quite pleasing height of 5’4” now staying with her dashing husband at City of Destiny “Vishakapatnam” :-D

Now gradually she will get old… Hair will start graying, wrinkles will be visible… eyeshight will get weaker.. uff…. (abhi to jawan hun….no more comments further LOL)

My motto of narrating the story of Suravi was only to realize my readers that they too have grown old and able to read blogs.. :-D look at yourself from your birth and the moment you are reading my lines… how old you are and what all you left in your past :-) & what you have to do in your future…

Glimpse 2010…

Second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, month by month, year by year… everything in our life move on leaving a sway in our mind… None has the power to stop the earth revolving, stop the sun rising, stop the moon glowing, stop the stars twinkling. Like ways none can stop our daily routine…social commitments, love, war, fantasy, accomplishments, certificates, bla bla bla ….. :-)

Every new day is a learning day in our life. We come across many situations; sometimes good sometimes bad…and sometimes the worst. The only thing which leaves behind is a glimpse… every new year we make resolutions (LOL my cousin says “resolutions are made for a namesake” :-) ) plan to do something new this year, leave some bad habits (I’ll not bite my nails any more… :-( in 2011), etc….

“2010” resulted as an adventurous year in my life… I can’t even dare to forget what happened in the year 2010 in my life… Completed my masters, got selected with a company (couldn’t join :-( ), changed my status from engaged to married, forced to wake up early (acc. I hate waking early morning :-| ), learnt cooking (though I burnt my hand, chopped my fingers :D), added a new passion in my life “COOKING” (isn’t it hilarious???) ha ha ha ha ha, Joined a company and worked for around 45 days and quited (lots of reasons my readers, I will try to narrate you in my next post :-) ), added new relationships to my life, major thing I learnt after my marriage is budgeting… seriously :O

At the end I can never forget the year 2010 :D

Bitter Taste... (a girly stuff)

This post is for my friends who are about to, or planning to, or got married recently. Totally it’s for girls.. I warn guys to stay out of this :P “I know they won’t…… ha ha ha ah”. I assure you ppl (obviously my readers :P ) that after reading this post you will come to know the ground reality what is going to happen with you in coming days. Hey hey don’t be scared kuch bura nahi hone wala… haan kabhi thoda apna finger katna padega kabhi palm jalane padenge…etc etc etc…. :-D

Just b4 my marriage when my mom asked to learn things like cooking-cleaning etc., I used to deny her and say “no mom chopping onions may damage my grown up nails…. Standing in front of the gas stove will burn my skin… washing clothes will react my palm skin… no no no for the tasks….” A big NO… to everything she insisted me… She always said a day will come when you will sob remembering me… & now I miss my mom badly….. :-(

Well coming to the point, in early days of post marriage you will come across some problems what I faced and still facing SIGH…………

-> My nails are not growing since I started chopping & cooking…
:-(
-> Pedicure and manicure is my daily routine….. :-(
-> I forget to put my complete makeup… :-(
-> I forget where I have kept my belongings…:-(
-> While cooking I forget to put all the ingredients I want in the recipe… :-(
-> I am bound to eat tasteless, sour food which is left out by my sw2 as I don’t want serve him to irritate his taste buds :P…. :-(
-> Sometimes I forget to put kajal in my one eye…. (This incident happened with me when I was going to my last office early morning... Thanks God I realized it just when I was about to lock my flat :-D ) :-(

And many things…. I hope some of these experience of mine will make you aware at least not to repeat with your life… :-D

All the best for your future buddies :-)

14th July, 2010

The most awaited day since ages (LOL :D) “14th July 2010”. Every individual wait for their special day, when they can update their marital status as “married” from “single” :D EEeeeeeee... Who don’t want her wedding to be the most memorable day in her life? I too had planned a lot before my wedding and possibly by hook or crook have done everything which I planned to make my day memorable. My parents too had some aspirations for my marriage. They also did the same what I did. I always thought how the rituals will be done, how will I look in bridal wear, will I manage not crying before I leave my home (which I cldnt :( stop ). Everything happened so quickly that I was unable to think what’s going on....

All rituals were done, I left my house, my family, my belongings, my bedroom and lots of memories.... and stepped to a new house with new relations, new environment ... Everything is new... couldn’t understand how I will carry it in my future. I always thought about 14th July but never thought about 15th July (the next day). In short I would like to say that life on 15th july was beautiful and hope to be the same after 15th July too.... :) I got much from what I expected. A Caring mother, A Joyful father, A Chulbuli-Nathkhat sister, & A Loving husband. What more I should expect??? I got everything which I needed. Just want to continue it forever.

My near and dear said me ‘lyf will change after 14th July’ and its true “lyf has taken a 180 degree rotation”. But frankly speaking it is amazing now. :)
